The Lost City + steps

Hi everyone,
This is one of my location for personal long term project (short animation).
In order to solve a mystery two main characters are looking for the Ancient Lost City.
Inspiration: South American civilization, Cities of Gold, Age of discovery.
Painted in Photoshop CS 5.5 + Wacom intuos 4M
Steps:
Usually I start painting with colors, but this time I've decided to paint 3 different environments at same time on one canvas(starting with B&W).
On the steps image You can see the process of the one environment (The Lost City).
To be honest,You should definitely try painting 3 or 4 images on one canvas.
I was really surprised how easier,funnier and faster is this process.
